OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide accessible and affordable wellness and mindfulness practices to people from all walks of life, regardless of ability to pay.

By hosting full priced weddings, corporate, and private events, Rag + Bale is able to subsidize the majority of the cost of wellness and mindfulness services.

Rag + Bale is an event space with a mission.

Traditionally, wellness practices have not been not affordable, and can feel intimidating for beginners. To offset these barriers, each partnering facilitator offers their wellness classes, workshops, and events at a donation based rate.

This allows us to provide accessible and affordable wellness and mindfulness practices to anyone, regardless of ability to pay.

Our Mission

One Good Turn is the parent nonprofit organization to Rag + Bale and four other social enterprises throughout the Denver Metro Area.

 FAQs

  • We accept a wide variety of wellness offerings. Examples include yoga, meditation, art, poetry, fitness, relevant speaking engagements, intention workshops, mindful movement, sound healing, support groups, and more. We love new ideas, so be creative!

  • We have a wellness board who manages our subsidy budget. We have an allotted amount distributed quarterly, to ensure variety within our offerings. In most scenarios, once approved, we can cover nearly 80% of the hourly cost.

  • In short, no. The Rag + Bale team does not help create marketing material, although we do provide you with our logos and location information for you to create your own materials. You’re welcome to hang your fliers (parameters to be provided upon acceptance) in our space, we will do our best to share any social media tags, and list your offering on our website.

  • We require that any wellness services open to the public are offered at a donation based, scholarship, or sliding scale rate (prices must be reviewed and approved by Rag + Bale wellness board).

  • If you’re wanting to host a full priced event, you are always welcome to host your event at our full price rental rate, and charge what you wish. Just fill out our inquiry form and our team will get back to you with rates!

  • Approximately 50-60 people with mats, and 150 seated/standing.

  • We have surround sound speakers (connect via bluetooth), dimmable lighting, limited yoga props, check in desk, restrooms, and free parking. Tables and chairs available upon request, additional fees may apply.

  • We love and support our fellow nonprofits! Only nonprofits that are offering a wellness course are eligible for subsidized rates. If that is your nonprofit, please fill out our application!

  • As a nonprofit, you’ll receive 20% off our standard event rates to host your event in our space. Fill out our event inquiry form and our team will get back to you.
